Important Note on Skottel Dish Maintenance:

It is critical to note that the Skottel dish requires seasoning before its first use. This is an essential part of owning and maintaining a CADAC Skottel Braai. If not seasoned correctly, the cooking surface will be difficult to clean and may retain markings after the initial use. Please refer to page 6 of the attached Operator Instruction Manual for full instructions on how to season the Skottel dish.

Unlike the rest of the CADAC range, which features a Greengrill Ceramic Coated Aluminium non-stick surface, the Skottel dish is not a non-stick coating. By seasoning it before use, the surface will behave similarly to a non-stick coating and be easy to clean thereafter. Following the Operator Instructions is crucial for optimal performance.

Usage Instructions:

  1. Assemble the Skottel Braai by attaching the legs and pot stand.
  2. Connect the gas supply and ignite.
  3. Place the Skottel top and start cooking your desired meal.
  4. Clean after use and store in the carry bag for convenience.

It includes all connectors to a standard New Zealand Gas bottle but the gas bottles are not included.
